I totally cried the first time I heard my mom's story and got misty the second time. It's a combination of her being far away and connecting with Lennox and for me to connect with her as well. The intentionality for Nani Stori and the storyteller putting some thought feels much more intimate and they’ve carved out time for it...they are prioritizing it. Which is nice as opposed to them just calling if they have time. Builds the bond in a casual but intentional and more creative way.
